Betül Aksu

Betül is an artist and researcher based in London. Her PhD research in Media and Arts Technology at Queen Mary University of London focuses on people’s experience with interactive artworks. She investigates how familiarity with technologies affect people’s perception of experience by using quantitative and qualitative research methods. Her artistic practice spans printmaking, photography and interactive installations. She uses language as an art material and experiments with the processes of making sense. She was selected for British Council AltCity Digital Arts Residency and exhibited in media art exhibitions and festivals in the UK, Turkey, Austria, and Ireland.
